Two countries, one migratory checkpoint

Great news for legits expats living in Argentina and Paraguay.

A high-level meeting took place recently between the heads of the immigration offices of Argentina and Paraguay. The goal: finalizing plans for a joint migratory checkpoint that will streamline border control between both countries.

This integrated system is expected to simplify procedures, reduce duplication, and enhance coordination at key crossings such as Encarnación–Posadas and Puerto Falcón–Clorinda.

It’s a major step forward — especially for those doing things by the book.
